SEO Consultant Galway
I'm an independent SEO consultant based in Galway, helping businesses and organisations improve their visibility in Google, AI search and other organic channels.
I've worked in SEO and digital marketing for more than 10 years, supporting everything from small Galway businesses to national organisations and international companies. I provide SEO audits, consultancy and ongoing strategic support without the overheads or layers of a traditional agency.
A Galway-Based SEO Consultant
Galway is home for me and where my SEO consultancy is based, although these days I tend to split my time between Galway and working remotely from elsewhere in Europe.
Before setting up my own consultancy, I built my SEO and digital marketing experience working with businesses in Ireland and internationally. I started my career in-house at Dublin Airport, before spending four years with Dublin-based digital agency Arekibo and later working as Head of SEO at Velocity Growth, where I worked primarily with US-based organisations and startups.
I originally moved back to my home county of Galway in 2019 and set up my own consultancy (Google-Analytics.ie), initially focusing on web analytics and SEO whilst continuing to work part time in other roles. In 2024, I finally bit the bullet and set up SEO by Darren - and since then I've been freelancing full-time, focusing specifically on SEO.
Today I work with businesses in Galway and across Ireland, as well as clients in the UK, Europe and the US.
Being based locally can be particularly useful for Galway businesses that want an experienced SEO consultant who understands the Irish market but also brings experience from larger national and international projects.
